In a constantly changing industry, our knowledge and depth of experience is our greatest strength.  Each Yamco staff member plays an important role in growing and maintaining our industry leading aseptic vegetable & fruit purees, while delivering a superior product to our customers.

A graduate of the Air Force with two Associate in Applied Science Degrees in Aviation Maintenance Technology and Instructor Of Technology And Military Science. Gussenhofen began his career with the United States Air Force in 1989 as an Electrical/Environmental systems specialist at Bitburg AB Germany, continuing his career to Seymour Johnson AFB North Carolina where he was the lead Electrical Environmental system specialist. His career advancements lead him to become a Technical Training Instructor for new military recruits and the Squadron Safety Manager at Sheppard AFB Texas.

Gussenhofen retired with over 21 years of military service after his final tour at McGuire AFB New Jersey as Production Maintenance Manager where he managed dozens of Mission essential aircraft and personnel. After Retiring from the United Air Force in 2010, Gussenhofen started his civilian career with Yamco in Snow Hill North Carolina as the Production manager. He was/is a key element to the company’s growth using a patented aseptic microwave technology to aseptically pack a variety of fruits & Vegetables ingredients.

Paul also managers the distilling and bottling process for Covington Spirits Sweet Potato Vodka

Pamela joined Yamco in 2023, where she directs both Quality Assurance and Food Safety programs at the plant. Pamela has over 12 years of Quality and Food Safety experience in the food industry.

Pamela started her quality career as a Microbiology Technician at Nestle and was promoted after a short time to a Microbiologist. Pamela has worked for several multi-million dollar companies such as B&G Foods, ConAgra Brands, Flagstone Foods and The Cheesecake Factory Bakery as a Quality Leader. She was hired at Yamco in June as the Food Safety and Quality Assurance Manager. She has experience in HACCP, Food Safety, Quality, Sensory and Leadership.

She is very passionate about her work, helping feed others safe quality food, talent development and process improvement for efficiency gain. She is determined and motivated to assist customers and consumers as needed. She has a BS and MS in food science from North Carolina A&T State University. She serves at her church in the first impression department. Pamela is a proud mother of her two boys, Joel(16) and Jordan(8).

Tripper Showell joined Yamco Sales in January of 2022 bringing with him more that 30 years of sales experience. With 15 years of experience in the Frozen Vegetable Processing industry, his customer base included both National Industrial and Food Service Accounts.

Tripper has worked closely across departmental lines of Production, QA/QC, Repack, Inventory Management and Logistics. He will use this experience to deliver the best “Total Value” to Yamco customers by working hard to ensure that they receive products that are competitively priced and that deliver on time, with required documentation and proper follow up after the sale.
